A 3,700-stock pile at a steel pipe store in Washington state has destroyed its contents, including a refrigerated truck and other items.
State fire officials said Tuesday that a refrigeration unit at the store in Bellevue, about 60 miles south of Seattle, was destroyed, along with the remainder of the pile.
Firefighters were called to the scene about 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday after reports of smoke, and found the pile of steel pipe at the business in a parking lot, fire officials told KOMO-TV.
The company that owns the store said in a statement it is “disappointed and saddened” to learn of the loss of the items.
