Tom Kenny, who played Astro Boy in “The Big Buzz,” recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about his experience with the sci-fi series.
“I am a starving artist,” he told THR.
“Every day I wake up with a feeling of wanting to do something that I don’t want to do.”
The actor is known for his love of sci-fantasy and science fiction films, which made him a fan of the “Big Buzz.”
Kenny, 37, said that his time on the show helped him learn more about his own inner-workings.
“When you do a show like ‘The Brain,’ you can’t really look at the characters’ stories and try to find a connection with them.
You have to look at their everyday lives and how they live their lives,” he said.
“You can’t look at them and try and see the connection between their world and theirs.”
“When I watch it, I know that I’m on the path of making something and that it is my destiny.
That’s how I’ve always felt about everything I’ve done in my life.”
Kenny told THR that he enjoys “the world” more than he ever has before, adding that he’s “very happy to be a part of the universe.”
“I’ve never been so happy as I am now,” he continued.
“It feels very real to me.”
